It really is Simple, You really can't become what Shakira has become by CHANGING your story. She has been smart to repeat what she wants people to know about her and she has managed to live a comfortable "private" life within the industry. She is a very smart woman, by repeating what she likes about her career and an acomplishments she has gained a lot of respect and not many people can bash her or trash her. Why? because she has taken care of the Shakira brand. Everytime people mention her name they associate her with singing, dancing and charity and these elements are the basis of the shakira bandwagon that is still rolling, she is like a politician in that respect! repeat till they believe you and if they doubt you, REPEAT it again. Whether or not this is the best for many fans who would love to hear what brand of coffee she preffers is another story, but as far as shakira is concerned she has been successful with her way of handling the press and interviews.

What majority are you talking about? She's been using the same or very similar phrases since the She Wolf era, hardly ever deviates from the same phrases. I'd love to see where she doesn't use the same predictable phrases because they must have all flown over my head. The reason I said the more recent interviews (as in interviews from The Voice & more recently from her Paris signing) are refreshing is precisely because of that - she isn't saying the same phrases she's been using since 2009 and beyond.

Like I said, the majority of interviews. There's probably less than 10 interviews where she even mentions being signed by CBS. In virtually all interviews she doesn't even mention it. So much for "rehearsing" her answers.

With the "woman of our time" stuff for SW she clearly had a message, narrative behind her album. Whether this was genuine or just the message she wanted to project, she wanted it to be known, hence she said it a lot. All artists, when they have a particular message to promote, will repeat it all the time. Beyonce did it for her Girls run the world thing a few years ago.

As for her motivations for starting her charity work, that is a big part of her brand so she gets asked about it a lot. And when she is asked she recounts her experiences. What's she supposed to do, make up a new story each time?

during the fixations era, the 'rehearsed' message was: when women approach their 30s they get more in touch with themselves bla bla bla etc

something like that

Right. Most pop stars often have a message behind their album, which is obviously then repeated is all the interviews that take place.

Exactly what I said...ever since the FO1 era she's been doing these soundbites/messages that she just repeats & repeats. During the LS era & before she never had these types of answers & her interviews were much more interesting (read the 2001/02/03 Rolling Stone or Blender interviews & compare them to any interview she's done since She Wolf or even since FO1). It has progressively become more and more prevalent in her interviews since then. I think the last time she was genuinely interesting & wasn't just using the same old phrases was on the L&OTR documentary. After that it's been "my hips they don't lie" "I feel more like a woman now that I'm approaching 30" "there's a she wolf in every woman/man" "el sol salio para mi" "the world cup changed my life" "sony music which back then was CBS" etc. she has one phrase and she uses it throughout the era & beyond...she doesn't deviate from these questions/answers & I don't think it has to do with the interviewers not wanting to ask her different questions but her not being willing to and/or allowed to be asked other questions/give other answers. Her PR people (or maybe just her?) are making sure that her brand/image is protected because before she started doing this she would give rather controversial answers during interviews & was more frank/spontaneous than she is now. It could also be that her interviews are rather short now & she only has time to give these same answers over & over to get her point across.
