Cat give it up, will you? I have noted many perfume bottles before having similar if not more 'feminine' (per your definition) shapes and that's what I expressed in my post. I wasn't looking forward to a discussion on marketing and practicality which is why I didn't answer you. You're starting to sound like a condescending bully and I certainly don't appreciate the tone. In English we use the word maquette to describe a small model for a sculpture or bronze and the like, also for architects small scale models.

My knowledge of Spanish is minimal, so I did check for alternative definitions of maqueta and mock up or should that be mock-up (my English ain't perfect lol) was listed.

We wouldn't use maquette to describe a non-functioning web page created as part of the design process for the eventual Elixir page.

Describing the site as mock rather than model, in English, seemed more appropriate to me.

I am trying to learn Spanish as I go so this is interesting to me.

i feel like because there are often two lower end and two fancier ones (including nordy's) i don't pay as close attention to the space in between. so like whether macy's is as high end as nordy's, just that its nicer than pennys.

i've never shopped at penny not because it isn't high end, but because their clothes suck, dillard's is all fancy and stuff not really my taste, express is ok but too preppy, anyway off topic, it dosen't matter where her perfume is sold as long as it sells

yeah all the girls live in it over here. it ain't great for mens clothes imo.. but i did get some pretty cool coloured chinos from there for 15euros the other day which was cheap as hell..

I kind of hope this perfume is at a higher price point than the "S" line was. It was kind of embarrassing that they only marketed "S by Shakira" at Walgreens, CVS, and other drug stores, whereas Katy Perry, Rihanna, and even freakin Kim Kardashian all had large displays at Macys and other big department stores.

I completely understand that Shakira wants her perfume to be accessible by all women, but it would be nice to see her all over big department stores as well. lol

In Mexico they sell them all together at Sanborns right next to each other and the Chanel perfumes

Is the new perfume already out? I saw an S stand in an Eroski in Spain a few days ago for about 20 euros I think, but didn't see Elixir.

I saw a conversation on Facebook, someone said he saw the perfume in Spain. I found that strange too!

I really hate floral scents so I hope this new perfume will be different, spicy and oriental.
