Los famosos no solamente aspiran a que sus canciones y su imagen queden en la perpetuidad, ya sea en el campo de la música, la actuación y el modelaje, sino también con la fragancia de su propio perfume. Como el caso de la diseñadora francesa Coco Chanel, quien pese a que en los años 20 lanzó su primer acierto, en este siglo su fragancia sigue siendo una de las favoritas en el mundo. Actores, cantantes, vedettes y hasta conductoras han lanzado su propia línea de perfumes, multiplicando tanto su fama como sus ingresos, y han logrado introducirlo en el mercado para competir con grandes marcas del sector. A la larga lista se ha sumado la cantante Shakira, quien firmó un acuerdo con la prestigiosa firma Puig para crear una marca de perfume. Es importante anotar que la casa Puig es dueña y encargada de comercializar fragancias tan reconocidas como Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera, Prada y Paco Rabanne, entre otros. Aunque el nuevo producto de Shakira será lanzado el próximo año, casi en forma simultánea con su nuevo álbum y su gira de conciertos, ya fue expuesto en un pabellón de Tax Free World Asociation (Tfwa), una importante feria de cosméticos y fragancias que anualmente se realiza en el Palacio de Festivales en Cannes, Francia. El perfume llevará por nombre ‘Amulet’ (‘Amuleto’) pensando que seguramente este no será el primero. El envase fue inspirado en el cuerpo de la dueña de las caderas más famosas, en el que se refleja la mezcla étnica de la artista: su alma y sensualidad latina, lo mismo que su ascendencia árabe. Los colores utilizados tanto en el frasco como en su empaque son rojo y dorado. Alrededor de la botella lleva un dije, diseñado por Shakira, que podrá ser usado como pendiente o brazalete, ya que viene colgado con una cinta de cuero. Los ejecutivos de Puig resaltaron que Shakira, como artista integral, estuvo muy involucrada en cada detalle de su fragancia, la cual tiene una salida verde muy fresca con notas de fondo maderosas y algo especiadas, explicó a este diario el gerente de mercadeo en Barranquilla de la firma de cosméticos Retycol/Zafarco, Gabriel Romero, quien asistió a la feria de Cannes. El nombre del producto lo puso la artista barranquillera porque, según sus conocimientos de antropología, que estudió en una universidad de Estados Unidos, el ser humano es muy dado a tener y creer en amuletos para que los proteja. La mayoría de los visitantes a la feria Tfwa hacían un alto en el luminoso stand donde fue expuesto el perfume, que fue ambientado con música de la cantante y un video. Previamente ha sido montado un spot publicitario en el que primero se escucha una ovación y luego aparece una modelo que se encuentra concentrada en un camerino. Antes de salir al escenario para un concierto, esta se coloca un amuleto de la buena suerte para triunfar. En la grabación, Shakira reemplazará a la modelo. Perfumes de famosos Algunos famosos han prestado su imagen para aromas de importantes marcas, pero terminan lanzando el suyo, como el caso de la top-model y actriz Kate Moss. Otra que se sumó a la tendencia es la actriz Sarah Jessica Parker. El actor Antonio Banderas ya tiene en su haber 7 fragancias, lo mismo han hecho diseñadores como Carolina Herrera, Óscar De la Renta y Armani, entre otros. En Latinoamérica, una de las precursoras fue la ex tenista Gabriela Sabatini. Muy pronto, el perfume de Shakira tendrá que competir con los de sus colegas Jennifer López (‘Deseo’), Alejandro Sanz, David Bisbal, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera y Hilary Duff. -------------------- Avatar too big ~ Please read the rules
