I love the video!
It's atmospheric, stylish and fits the feeling of the song. Outdoor location would've been enjoyable, but this is fine too. It's not spectacular, but is gathering needed emotion, and leaves space for single details like Shakira's moves and gestures.
It seems relaxed and natural, not forced.
Shakira looks so good once again. The faded filter is absent, which makes me happy, because she doesn't look pale and tired anymore. In LB it was part of the nostalgic concept (eventhough didn't fit dancing scenes), but in Chantaje's water scene it was unnecessary. Overall, she looks more rested than on her previous videos. Also her style is on point.
I like the slow feeling of the video. I would've liked to see more dancing with Prince Royce, but i'm ok with the less-than-expected overall amount of dancing in the video. I find the scene of her sitting on a chair in the dark with varying lightning interesting, somehow her look reminds me of the futuristic magazine cover photos in the beginning of this era.
About Jaume, there is flaws in many peoples opinion, but despite some frustrating moments his style doesn't bother me. I still think he's made more good work than bad decisions with the repertoire of Shakira videos directed by him.
Shakira is the one choosing the director, and i understand her decisions. Sometimes it's even funny, like she'd be a queen having her own director.
We know how involved Shakira likes to be on planning and editing her videos, and likely, working with him makes her participation and cooperation more enjoyable.
Jaume has his own style, but it's diverse and fits Shakira. There's many great, even spectacular high budget videos by other directors, but some of them don't have that Shakira (a little home-made, atmospheric, exotic and quirky at it's best) feeling every Jaume video has (at least in my eyes).
Does anyone else think she is really in a need of a massage, when she starts with "ay ay ay"? 😅

My god, here I came to say how cute I thought the video was lmao
Am I the only one that thinks music videos are overrated,?? I mean visuals always add to the song and are generally enjoyable, but they're just something extra and I really don't understand the obsession with wanting cinematic masterpieces when Shakira delivers a song considering that most song themes/topics are recycled (Deja Vu is a prime example), I don't know how creative or innovative pop artists can be when most of their songs have been done before ...
unpopular opinion: Jaume's video's are decent, he delivers the vibe/concept Shakira wants from him, and there's generally nothing wrong with his music videos. And in this particular case, he delivered a video that fits the general tone of the song. Pretty sure the general public will enjoy it too!
This. 👏🏼

in other news, the video already passed the 2 million mark & it's safe to say it'll reach at least 3-4 million after a full 24 hours... not bad

Guys 3 things
It could be that the video's budget was 40.000 Dollars.
Shakira looks quite Latina, not as white washed which is good
And
She looks a lot older too
I actually thought so too, it might be the hair.
Anyway, another lackluster video. She's never gonna fire Jaume though, and why bother when all her videos smash regardless of their quality.

Like most of the guys, I would have liked to have seen more of the dancing, especially the sexy dancing from her. Like a lot of you, I was fooled by the teasers, thinking there would be more dancing and that would be the primary emphasis of the video, and sadly, it was not. However, still an average, but not terrible video, and the song itself is decent. It has some very nice vocals by Shakira.

probably the most forgettable video i've seen in a long time. which is fitting for the song and comes as no surprise with laiguana as the director.
still waiting till we have more concrete news on the album. please let there be more comme mois, chasing shadows, and cut me deeps and no more snoozefests like this or mi verdad. 🤞

Bachata was kinda left behind by the public to be honest. Even Romeo Santos is underperforming with his comeback single!

Good effect.
I can live without the song, but I kinda like it.

The only people I've seen complain are the ones on this forum and those particular ones always complain.
It's a cute video and she looks gorgeous.

She looked gorgeous as always. The only problem was that the lightning was a bit too harsh in certain scenes and she was wearing very simple makeup, so it washed her out. I didn't mind it though.

She doesn't look ugly, her hair looks like it hasn't been washed in days.

i actually don't mind the pared down look. sure, her stylist needs to be fired overall but i find she looked more like her 2006 self in the video so i'm dumbfounded by the age comments.

dead
iconic signature. now that short hair made her look a decade older and this was ~5 years ago. she looks younger now lol.
