Oh wow, another meaningless dull video from Jaume, who would've known?!
At this point, watching drying paint is far more entertaining than his music videos. It's like a long perfume ad with bits of dancing and bad lighting, who are they kidding?
Twitter fans will have a field day with this.

The dark tones/theme though could've been replaced with something more cheerful.

Okay video to a decent song. The video is alright. Shakira dances well and she is sexy doing it. Looks like there was a little panty upskirt shown for second when she was sitting on the folding chair. Overall, the song is a lot better than the video, and we should not have had to wait this long for this type of video.

Don't get me wrong she still looks nice and sexy with some of her moves, but uh where's the rest of the dancing?? Geesh there's more of Shakira dancing in the videos she posted on making the video than the official video itself!
This video clearly screams Jaume de la Iguana's work: no innovation nor organization, just random scenes!
I'm so over it! Heck I've been over it since she worked with him in Don't Bother! I don't get it! An artist of her caliber needs to work with directors that showcase her persona and her artistry pretty well and Mr Iguana here once again has proved that he is clearly not that director! Ugh!
also my tv is super hd and I couldn't take my eyes off of her hair... it's kind of a mess 😅 Ok I'm done criticizing, I guess at least we've got a new Shakira video but I'll wait now for Comme Moi and maybe my faith will be restored lol

It could be that the video's budget was 40.000 Dollars.
Shakira looks quite Latina, not as white washed which is good
And
She looks a lot older too 🙈

Shakira is looking hot, oh god, every time I forget how much I find her attractive she just reminds me again...
I'm glad Jaume didn't mess up too much with the color correction this time around.
It wasn't bad but wtf happened to all the dancing?? He did the same thing he did with Loca: five seconds of above-the-waist dancing shots instead of staying on the dancing enough to let us marvel. Ugh.

I'm pretty sure their discussions go like this
Jaume : So what should we do for this video?
Shak: i just want to look pretty and sexy, you know the drill. All the focus will be on me, don't care about set, just gimme closeups when i look sexy.
Jaume: Wow this is really cool and new. Fans will love it ! Done!

We should create a petition/Facebookpage or anything in order to stop Jaume collaborating with Shak.
I mean, there's gotta be someone out there who can take action right?
Maybe the Sony executives or something,
Let's boycott that motherf... lol

I think the video is just meh. Not bad, not amazing. It does bother me that they build up this moment for them to dance together, and the song practically ends there. Also dancing makes up for like 25% of the video when bachata is all about that close 1-1 dancing.
I dont mind it too much, since its not an official Shakira video and its not for her album.
The reason we don't like Jaume is because when he makes a music video its always a gamble. It's either pretty, boring or bad.
His directing style is also too straightforward:
-Close Ups
-Mid Shots
-Extended Full Shots.
This would be ok if the atmosphere of the video was interesting; if the concept was fully realized, but most of the time, its not.
He's editing goes from ok to choppy, and sometimes he forgets to color correct.
And lets keep it real. It isn't his work that makes up for those views. It's Shakira's song and her charisma.
If it was the director that made up her views, then we should be praising Marcus Raboy for doing a great job on the Waka Waka video. <- tho the concept of the Video was by Shakira and Antonio Navas of Ogilvy and Mather. The truth is, Shakira can work and make her concepts just as great, if not better, with other people.

My god, here I came to say how cute I thought the video was lmao
Am I the only one that thinks music videos are overrated,?? I mean visuals always add to the song and are generally enjoyable, but they're just something extra and I really don't understand the obsession with wanting cinematic masterpieces when Shakira delivers a song considering that most song themes/topics are recycled (Deja Vu is a prime example), I don't know how creative or innovative pop artists can be when most of their songs have been done before ...
unpopular opinion: Jaume's video's are decent, he delivers the vibe/concept Shakira wants from him, and there's generally nothing wrong with his music videos. And in this particular case, he delivered a video that fits the general tone of the song. Pretty sure the general public will enjoy it too!

"Chantaje" was much better. This is just a standard Jaume video. At least he has been doing a better job of not zooming up on her face.

I don't understand the problems some of you have with Jaume. He didn't direct her 2 worst videos (imo: Empire and CRTFY). I much prefer LB, Chantaje and Deja Vu to those, they're essentially Shakira. If his work was as bad as you say she wouldn't have 10B views on her Vevo.
It's not like she has views thanks to Jaume
