Wait, why did people here doubt Shakira's chances to get another hit after Whenever Wherever?

It is likely and imminent that Shakira can and will score many more hits in the US. The culture of music is ever evolving and I believe the reason she has not been able to land a massive smash after HDL is because she has not invested herself in achieving it fully. She Wolf was the closest thing to a massive hit and for one reason or another it fell short. After that, she gave up. I think she felt disappointed because of all the effort invested in She Wolf. The self titled could be literally deleted from her repertoire and no one would miss it, except for Dare. Also, remember, during this time she was working on her personal life and her family - she kind of just pushed albums through to fulfill contracts. Just to prove her appeal, around this time, FIFA and the public basically begged her to close the World Cup while replacing JLo and Pitbull. Chantaje is kind of what Shakira needs -but in English- but on a solo song. She can do it and I think she now knows this and shes going for it. You can tell how, after the voice scare, shes motivated and more focused since the fixations era. Shakira is a force like no other artist can be. She dominates Spanish music and can conquer the English market with the right strategy. We have yet to see the end of Shakira. Leave legacy for others. Shakira is not done just yet.

Agreed.

Anyway, what looks do y'all wanna see for this era?

I liked this hip-hop look from Perro Fiel with the red hair. It works well with the reggaeton dance vibes she's been putting out.

Am I alone in being done with the blonde hair?

The blonde is here to stay and personally I think she looks beautiful. She looked 22 on tour!
