It's cute. Her voice sounds nice.

It's probably going to be on the level of that collaboration with Mana. Pleasant but not extraordinary.

Sounds like any other generic bachata song. Sigh

All bachata songs sound the same. The only way it could've been something different would've been if she had collaborated with the master JLG. But sadly that wasn't the case...

(Ps: I didn't really listen to the preview, I just know what bachata sounds like, and I trust your judgement :P)

 If I mess up everything someday, I won't hide my head in shame....

I remember reading somewhere in here that ShakiraMedia's social media accounts were stolen years ago and they never bothered to fight to have them back!

That's how rumors start...I've asked around & they were never stolen that's false the site owner (not moderators/admins from this forum) have access to them :goodvibes: The facebook page was hacked  for about 2 months a while back.

Back to topic this song is awful not a fan of that beat bashata crap but Shakira's vocals + lyrics are good

That's indeed bachata, and that particular one is as tacky and basic as it gets.... if you like that one I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever Deja Vu turns out to be.

eh, didn't go crazy over that preview. She sounded fine but overall it didn't sound anything special.

It reminded me as well as Lorelei of Obsesion. Not excited about it. I am really surprised Prince chose this as a single. It sounds so weird saying his name o.O

It makes me wonder if she's gonna hold Nicki Jam single since Deja Vu is coming pretty soon? I know it's his single but she might not go ahead soon with hers?

Shakira released Chantaje's video in mid November and wanted to have Comme Moi's out before the year ended, originally!

Even more tackier than the salsa version of chantaje. I never even finished listening to that.

Regarding bachata, it's actually one of my favorite genres; quite easily the Latin genre I listen to the most. Bachata could be very tasteful, and if you have a dance partner that knows how to dance, it could take you to the moon and back in "love".

This kid though only has like two good bachata songs. The rest is pretty average and he doesn't ever change it up.

Wishing for a choreographed video but I'm not expecting much and don't really care tbh.

Sis, no. That salsa version sounded as if someone took the acapella over an old "how-to-salsa" tape from the 90's.

Deja Vu sounds really nice, i cant wait to listen in HQ with earplugs and bass.

So you guys think she won't have a single for a while because of this song?
... if so...
Eww. Lol I'm all about any new Shakira music but bachata? Really!? So I waited to hear most of the song before judging but nope even if it's Shakira I still can't swallow this kind of music! To me this is the same level of unlistenable as Mariposas! Lol (I can't stand that song!) 🙊
Though her voice does quite indeed sound very good and pleasant, I will be adding this to the very short list of bad Shakira music. lol

I love Shakira's vocals, and lyrics too, judging by the preview.
The tone of her voice and atmosphere of the song are perfect for the early spring.
I think their voices blend surprisingly well.

Once again new genre, new direction from her.
It's interesting, that this duet is as well typed with "&" (instead of "feat" like the rest of duets in his album), just like La Bicicleta.

I can't wait for the whole thing on Spotify in 10 minuts!

It's a cute song, nothing more. Less cheesy than Mi Verdad, great vocals once again, I feel like she's been really working on her vocals lately. As Diditagain said, good timing for such a song.

I'll put the song in the same box of Mi Verdad and Mariposas, even do this Deja Vu thing is a lot worse. I won't stand for this, I'll quitely wait for her next single better.

I already see my friends dancing to this. Not my favorite thing at all, should have been JLG. Shakira is sounding great though, you guys are right.

So the song with Nicky will probably be out in three months or so? Since they'll try to get the most out of this.
