Im with whoever thinks that she should STOP doing reggaeton.

She should Im fact collaborate with J Balvin instead, which I feel is way more talented than maluma and actually has the receipts to show for it. His music is dope.

Maluma tries way too hard to sound sexy lol.

I feel like by the time this reggaeton wave is done, shakira will probably be nearing her 50s in which case we probably wont even care for her music much. Idk, I still love her and stuff but I find that my musical tastes continue to shift with each passing year and with that shift comes less and less interest in Shakiras music, and she cherry tops it with releasing reggaeton after reggaeton song. ( exclude Chantaje cause that is the real bop)

This release seems way too random. She certainly isnt releasing a new album so it has to be a re-release. Unless FIFA just asked her to perform something and she ran to the studio for a fresh hit

The song is good but gets too repetitive, towards the end I feel like it's been playing for forever. Trap and Chantaje are better.

Echoing the comments about J Balvin. I've been saying it from the beginning, Balvin's music is the best out of the Colombian reggaetoneros, Maluma is a simple trend-hopping dude selling his looks (but Shakira says he's the most talented person she's worked with... Rme).

Hope it's another hit for her though! And has a good video.

Okay, Clandestino is a BOP. Hope she re-releases El Dorado and includes it + some Ozuna, J Balvin and Bad Bunny collabs. Dont let the other latinas breathe queen!

Id rather have solo tracks if there is more to come after this.

I really like Clandestino.

Im gonna have to check out J Balvin's music cause I never bothered... Im not too much of a reggeaton fan only because of the signature drum percussion... It's the same in every song.

Can we speak the truth and say that nothing would be better than another collab with RESIDENTE? I mean... what other urban artist is there that is at the artistic caliber of Shakira? none... only him

Oiiii today is monday... meh!!!! =3

I love Residente's artistry but lbr, he's an insufferable person who thinks himself better than anyone else ans he's bad-mouthed Shakira a lot despite her being nothing but gracious when they did (justice4)Gordita, so a collaboration will never happen again.

She's just embarking on a world tour, makes sense to have something out. Need to promote the tour.

Maybe he's going to be added to low selling dates

Ikr.

I don't get why so many twitter fans want her to do another WC, i couldn't care less about this tournament  :hang:

I'd rather have random collabs like this one.

If she could I believe she would do another WC anthem. Why not, it's a sure hit and popularity booster. Especially since this tournament is like the best ever.

The other day a couple people I knew asked me if I was also sad for the news....

I said, what news?
They said, Colombias loss on the World Cup.... I was shook cause I actually didnt know they were playing that day. I felt bad cause I should honestly know about these types of thing, cause I Probably seemed really ignorant. But I mean, cat videos > soccer for me so... I agree though that we should all be way more in-tuned with thats around us.

Colombia lost tragically to England after a shootout. It was a big drama game. Too bad Shakira couldn't play for them, they would have surely won.
